Abstract
Following our previous paper, elastic stress analysis of semichemical medium (FB) and the wave board (WB) are carried out under the surface load applied at tops and bottoms of the wave. Strength efficiency (strength per material mass) of FB and WB are determined. The characteristic features of stress for FB and WB were elucidatated. The mechanism of strength for FB was analyzed.
In this analysis it turns out that the moment of FB be extremely small by the transversal load, which makes transverse displacement zero, and the absolute value of maximum stress for FB became about 1/4 for that of WB. Also, we can see that the maximum stress appeared at tops and bottoms of the FB and WB.
