New Production Technique of TCF Pulp

Abstract

In Europe TCF pulp bleaching is spreading recently. Following items are introduced.
(1) history of pulp bleaching sequence
(2) actual operation example of TCF bleaching
(3) new TCF bleaching technique named GreenOx
GreenOx process was developed by Kemira Chemicals Oy in Finland. By adopting this technique to ordinary TCF bleaching sequence, high quality TCF pulp, namely high brightness and high strength, can be obtained.
