This study aims to decipher the dynamic transformation of “socio-spatial system” of Yusuk village, a hill minority settlement in Thailand. This paper investigates the transformation process of the village from the start of settlement in 1983 to the present day (2022) by field measurement and interviews. The results revealed that the socio-spatial system changed drastically after 1992, with the influx of modern technology related to construction and infrastructure, the conversion from the belief in spirits to Christianity, and the rapid increase in the number of concrete block buildings built with funds obtained through migrant workers from abroad.
