Abstract

In this study, organized the characteristics and actual usage of accommodation bases by utilizing existing buildings such as Machi-hotel and Albergo Diffuso, which are attracting attention as part of regional revitalization. The purpose is to help plan and manage projects and maintain and improve local activities. The methods are collection, organization, and classification of cases of this type, interview with the facility operator, and questionnaire to guests. As a result, it was possible to grasp and organize the characteristics and actual usage of this initiative, and it became clear that it should be emphasized when planning and operating.
