This study is to clarify the characteristics of the spatial coordination between workshops and residences formed in a village-like environment, based on the relationship between buildings and production processes at six potteries in Mashiko Town. First, focusing on the processes and arrangements in the earthen floor and under the eaves space, the character of each space are clarified by the analysis of the composition of the building and building parts. Next, the network formed on the entire site is clarified by analyzing the composition of the boundary surfaces of the buildings, including workshop and residence, and the relationship between them.
