Abstract
Three cases of canine cystic meningioma diagnosed by MRI are described. We made Nauta classification based on the imaging findings and performed surgical removal. In the case 1 and 2 of type III, the cystic wall did not demonstrate contrast enhancement on imaging. This led to a result that only solid tumors were removed. On the other hand, in the case 3 of Type II, both of the solid tumor and the cystic wall were enhanced on MRI and we were able to remove all of them. These resulted in clinical improvement in all cases. In case 1, the secretory ability of cyst was decreased. In case 2 and 3, the cysts were disappeared. In case 3, another tumor reoccurred in opposite site of the removal site post-operatively, however, the patient has been surviving for 3 years.
