Abstract
Renal blood flow and jet phenomenon of auto-or allografts was measured by color Doppler technique to evaluate the renal function during stable phase after transplation in dogs. Quantitative measurements of renal and intrarenal blood flow were possible, which enabled to evaluate the renal function of the grafts. Jet phenomenon (urine flow from the ureteral orifice into the bladder) was also clearly visualized, which was useful to evaluate the stenosis after ureterocystostomy. Thus this technique is quite useful to evaluate the postsurgical complications of the kidney transplantation non-invasively.
