Abstract
To evaluate the nutritional condition of a dairy cow, a practical simple method was devised for estimation of blood urea nitrogen on the basis of the azostix method. This method gave a little higher value than the diacetylmonoxim method and a little lower value than the unigraph method. The values estimated by this method were almost in parallel with those by the azostix method. The latter method was recommended, since it was more labor-saving than the former and fit for evaluation of the nutritional condition of a cow.
