Abstract
The Wisconsin sugar centrifugal-flotation technique was proved to be superior to any other method in the identification of nematode eggs in bovine feces. It was, however, difficult in this technique to set a coverglass in the centrifugation tube. This difficulty was overcome by having the coverglass on the top of the tube for 10 minutes after operation. In addition, the gravity of sugar solution and the mesh of strainer were modified. So that, a standard nematode egg counting method was firmly established with the same accuracy as the original one.
