Abstract
A diagnosis of monoclonal M-proteinemia was made in a spayed dachshund 13 years old suffering from hemorrhage from the gingiva and hemorrhagic feces. Initial examination revealed anemia, hyperproteinemia, and marked hyperviscosity of blood. This case was considered to be malignant and of IgG 2ab (λ) type caused by multiple myeloma.
