Abstract
In a rare case of cholesteatomalike hyperplasia of the feline ear canal, multiple cauliflowerlike nodular hyperplasia of the epithelium and cheeselike discharge was seen on both pinna. The ear orifices were thoroughly covered and occluded by them.
Histologically, these nodules showed epithelial hyperplasia with more than ten layers of epithelium and a pearlilke accumulation of detached cornified epithelial cells on the surface.
This condition could be alleviated by the medication of probucol and feeding low fat foods (white meat of fish and vegetable).
