Abstract
Histopathological evaluations of testicular tumors in7 cats showed3 of them to be seminomas, 3 to be interstitial cell tumors, and1 to be teratoma. Gross pathological and histological findings were similar to those obtained from dogs. Two of the7 tumors (one case of interstitial cell tumor and one of teratoma) develeped in cryptorchism. Surgery was performed on the animals, 3 of which died within 2 years from other causes. All traces of2 were lost, and2 are still living. Since these cases are too few to permit definite conclusions, further investigation is required to clarify the biological behavior of these tumors.
