Abstract
1. The course of Villemin type tuberculosis in rabbits produced by intravenous inoculation of a small dose of avian tubercle bacilli was traced up to 20 weeks a.i. 2. The fate of avian tubercle bacilli in various organs was traced by means of a quantitative culture method. Serial observation was made on the histopathology of Villemin type tuberculosis. 3. Differences in the histopathological characteristic of the lesion between Yersin and Villemin type tuberculosis was discussed.
