To observe materials or reactions in micro- and nanoscale with naked eye is challenging. Although micrograph, chemical symbols, etc. are used for visualization, the access to them is limited. To acquire better understanding of the small scale, visuals such as illustrations and CGs are highly helpful. The author works as a science visualizer at a science laboratory, which studies on the microfabrication, and visualizes scientific researches. In this article, some graphic designs drew by the author are introduced. Moreover, artworks of “carving of a microscale heart”, “microanimation drew by AFM”, “cell-snowing brain-shaped snow dome” are introduced. The article intends to communicate the expressions that are only realizable in micro- and nanoscale and the allure that can be felt only in the scale.
