Abstract
The surface flow patterns on a pivoted rectangular wing aircraft model were observed with the oil flow method in medium and high subsonic flows, and its static aerodynamic characteristics were also measured. At high angle of attack, the flow patterns on the pivoted rectangular wing aircraft model were found to be very different from an obliqued wing without body and bilaterally symmetric wing aircrafts. But it was found that the drastic change of flow patterns has only minor influence on aerodynamic characteristics of the model.
