SST (Sea Surface Temperature) is estimated, independently, with VIRS (Visible Infrared Scanner) or TMI (TRMM Microwave Imager), which are attached TRMM (Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission) satellite. A method for interpolation of multi-sensor satellite images based on Multi-Resolution Analysis (MRA) is proposed. The experimental results with TMI/SST image and VIRS/SST image show that RMS error is from 0.87 to 0.91 C.
