Abstract
Ramp injector is examined as the fuel mixing method in a scramjet combustor. PSP and PIV were used in order to investigate this flow field. PSP attracts attention as the flow visualization technique in recent years, and it can measure a surface pressure distribution easily. But in the scramjet combustor model, the fuel mixing mechanism cannot be known directly from surface pressure distribution. On the other hand, PIV is utilized as the velocity measurement technique in recent years. However, it is difficult to measure the velocity distribution in the vicinity of the wall. Then, the flow field around the ramp injector was measured using PSP and PIV, and grasp of the whole flow field was tried.
