Abstract

  We measured mass and kinetic-energy distribution of desorbed ions using a miniature cylindrical mirror analyzer (CMA) and synchrotron radiation under the single-bunch mode operation. We have applied it for the measurements of kinetic energy distribution of ions desorbed by N 1s transitions of condensed NH₃.
