The graphite intercalation compounds (GICs), where metal atoms intercalate between graphite layers, exhibit various physical properties. Especially, superconductivity and antiferromagnetic order were reported in GICs systems intercalated with lanthanoids, ytterbium and europium. In this study, we used the MBE method to deposite Yb atoms on graphene/SiC(0001). As a result, we observed the anomalous hall effect although ytterbium itself is paramagnetic. The estimated Curie temperature by Arrott plot is 59K.
