Abstract

In vacuum technology, a knife edge flange is widely used to fasten the vacuum components. Due to the historical reason, its standardization is confused. Nowadays, three standards, JVIS, ISO and ASTM, has been published. The compatibility between JVIS and ISO was surveyed. In this paper, the compatibility among three standards has been surveyed and found except some nominal diameters.
