Abstract
Fatigue cracks which pass through the deck plate or weld metal from weld root are reported in the case of steel plate deck bridges. Fatigue tests for Fatigue Proof steel (FCA) has been experimented for the purpose of arresting the crack from weld root which were 75% penetration for U-rib thickness in the deck plate.
