Joint properties of dissimilar metal conbination of Galvanealed steel and Aluminum alloy sheet by resistance spot joining method

Abstract

On the dissimilar joining combination of galvanealed steel sheet and aluminum alloy sheet, KOBE STEEL has already reported that the means of one more addition of steel on the outside of galvanealed steel had brought the good mechanical joint properties. This paper reports the intimate observations of the joining interface comparing with conventional combination without addition.
