Proposal of team building method in remote environment

— Countermeasures for human communication issues in large-scale development —

Abstract

In large-scale system development, telework and communication in remote environments are not uncommon. Smooth communication is crucial in team building. In this study, we approach communication issues in large-scale development using the idea of gamification. Specifically, we conducted a workshop using a gesture game and a virtual scavenger hunt as part of a team-building activity, we confirmed that the game has a certain effectiveness in addressing communication issues in large-scale development. In the gesture game, there is room for improvement in the content of the questions. In the future, we would like to improve the game content and contribute to solving communication issues in remote environments.
