On the cruise of JEDS-2, four plankton collections in deep water were made at three stations in the southern area of Hokkaido (Fig. 1 and Table 1). 826 euphausiids were found in these plankton samples and 698 individuals could be identified while remaining euphausiids were not able to identify because of damaging of bodies. Species identified are as follows: Bentheuphausia amblyops, Thysanopoda cornuta, Euphausia diomediae, E. pacifica, Thysanoessa longipes and Tessarabracion oculatus. The author gave here descriptions, figures and notes on morphological problems and distributions of these six species.
