Abstract
On the size distribution of coal, the Rosin and Rammler's formula
where R=Residue in % x=Particle diameter b, n=some constants
has been reported in good agreement with experimental results. The authors tried to determine the accuracy of the formula about Japanese Coals, comminuted in many conditions of grinding, and furthermore the relation between n and b was obtained.
