小型船の試運転成績を解析して得たTHPに関する報告

In this paper, the author presents the results of analysis on THP of usual small boats, such as oil tankers, cargo boats, passenger boats and certain kinds of fishers, which was selected from his vast collection. The analysis was carried out by his own method which had been introduced in the Journal No. 76 of this Society. The report cotains sixteen graphs which represent THP/(Δ〓L) vs. V/〓L^^-. Principal conclusion of this paper are as follows ; 1) The values of THP obtained from the results at trial show good agreement with those in model tests. 2) Propulsive quality of small vessels may be investigated by this method. 3) Progressive trial must be carried out with draught of greater than 80% of fully loaded displacement. 4) THP/(Δ〓L) graphs can be applied to obtain the speed and power of boats.
