Issues and Countermeasures in Special Education Activities from the Perspective of Moral Education

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present the issues found within special education activities. The Ministry of Education is presently editing the content for the next course of study. A description about the special education activities of the next course of study is important. We analyzed the contents of the next course of study. The results revealed that moral education and career education have an influence on special education activities. We then participated in a special education activities conference held at Yoyogi, Tokyo 2016. We analyzed the reports of junior high school teachers who participated in the extracurricular activities conducted during the conference. These two analyses gave us an idea of how to improve the contents of the special education course offered by our university.
