Abstract
Two cases of so-called Alagille's syndrome were histopathologically examined by serial sections of wedge biopsy materials. The ratio of interlobular bile ducts to portal areas were reduced. All of the ducts disappeared at the distal and the proximal sides, and ended blindly. The ducts, just above the blind end, showed non-significant changes or periductal slight fibrosis. The changes were similar to that of early primary biliary cirrhosis.
