Abstract
We developed the preparing method of template DNA for a loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) method to detect tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV) at agriculture sites. ‘Toothpick method’ was used for preparing the DNA samples from tomatoes. TYLCV could be detected from a bulk of fifty tomatoes including only one infected tomato by the simple LAMP. Sampling solution of ‘Toothpick method’ could be preserved for two days at 4°C.
