At first, about expression of light in a fashion design of the present days, there is new material development. In late years use example of light emitting diode LED came to be seen instead of conventional spangle and beads as surface decoration of cloth at the same time. There are merits about LED for us to decorate the clothing for example, not charging with heat, giving a thing the movement and adjusting various colors controlled by computer. In this creation study, we produced a wedding dress, a pair of dresses and an accessory. The wedding dress has a bustier with LED decoration. This design makes people feel the possibility of new direction in the space of wedding ceremony. In addition, a design of the pair of dresses represents making a face of wearer be seemed white as same as the wedding dress. Furthermore, a necklace with white and blue LED represents both ethnic image and futuristic image. These light emitting diode fashions aim at functioning as the tool which can direct a lifestyle and a life stage of near future. However, this design aimed not at a tool of entertainment, but the clothing for life. In our study we are collaborating with Professor Tsunemasa Taguchi who belongs to the department of engineering in Yamaguchi University. And Katsuya Kobashi, a technical staff under Prof. Taguchi producted the part of light emitting diode in the upper works. I will grope for more concrete possibility by industry-university co-operation for article development in future.
