[Purpose] Expiphyseal separation of the coracoid process is rare. We studied the mechanism of this injury. [Materials] We experienced 5 cases(6 shoulders) of this injury. The patients were all junior high school students, and belonged to a sport's club. The causes of all the injuries were contusion of the shoulder girdle.
