Abstract
With the spread of photovoltaic systems, a lot of wind-induced damage was done to these systems. Photovoltaic system installed on the roof of a building has a complex load path. Therefore, it is valid to evaluate the wind resistance based on the assembly test with such a specimen that consists of all members on the load path. This paper presents the result of an assembly test, in which wind loads are applied to the roof cladding and photovoltaic modules installed on a metal roof simultaneously. The results indicate that the specimen was destroyed at the roof fixing, where wind loads on the photovoltaic modules and the roof are concentrated.
