Abstract
I examined Tuberclin-Reaction for the 209 pupils of a elementary school standing within the limits of the former city in Tokyo, and perceived breasts by the X-rays on the pupils showed positive reaction. In sum, the result is a s below:
1. In Tuberblin-reaction, the p o s itive reaction rate showed 33.3% in boys, 37.8%in girls, 35.9% in the sum total boys and girls. The positive reaction rate in girls was pretty higher than in boys.
2. In observation of the distribution of positive type in the positive pupils in Tuberclin-Reaction, 42.7% of that showed weak positive reaction, 46.7% showed middlegrade, and 10.7% showed intense. From sex point of view, in boys 56.7% of that showed weak positive reaction, 33.3% showed middle-grade, and 10.0% showed intense; in girls, 33.3% of that showed weak positive reaction, 55.6% showed middle-grade, and 11.1% showed intense.
3. As the result of perceiving breasts by the X-rays on the positive pupils in Tuberclin-Reaction, I recognized tuberculous lesion by 62.7% of that, and did not by 37.3%. From sex point of view, in boys, I recognized tuberculous lesion by 70.0% of that, and did not by 30.0%; in girls, I recognized tuberculous lesion by 57.8% of that, and din not by 42.2%.
