Five cases of tuberculosis patients whose leucocytes showed lowering in the phagocytic activity by successive administration of tibion over a period of 6 months and 3 cases to which the administration of tibion was suspended within a period of 6 months, were subjected to the intermittent administration of tibion which was done by repeating administration and suspension each for 1 month. Following are the findings of the phagocytic functions examined weekly or every other week against the tubercle bacilli Frankfurt strain:
