Abstract
To summarize the results of my experiments briefly as follows:
(1) This flocculation-test is quite different in its natures and mechanisms from those already known as Mátéfy's, Datanyi's or Sachs-Klopstock's reactions. This test is produced in tuberculous sera when they are mixed by certain method with emulsion of lecithin from eggs and purified gelatine-salt solution and its prognostic and diagnostic value for active tuberculosis are very preferable. In 454 cases of active pulmonary tuberculosis positive percentage indicated:—
in primary stage 43.7% (total number experimented 32 cases)
in secondary stage 96.8% (total number experimented 128 cases)
in tertiary stage 98.60 (total number experimented 294 cases)
in 62 normal cases were all negative.
