Many side effects from minor to major have been reported as glucocosticord steroid has varial pharmacological actions. The purposes of the present studies were, first, to investigate the pulmonary tuberculosis induced by the steroid clinically, second, to measure the recovery in the lung of mice infected by H37Rv and BCG, third, to study the influence of steroid to the delayed hypersensitivity in rabbits, fourth, to investigate the lysosomal enzyme activity of the peritoneal macrophages and white blood cells in mice and rabbits treated with steroid.
