Here the author presents, a new method for conducting the turbidity reaction quantitatively in tuberculosis with the antigen which is made of acetone-insoluble fraction of alcoholie normal Ox Lung Tissue Extract and containing one percent of tolu, and also a new method for conducting the turbidity reaction quantitatively in syphilis with Meinicke's antigen. This is performed by using the normal horse serum which contains one half percent of carbolic acid as dilutent of various quantities of testing serum, making up to two tenths cubic centimetres in total, instead of using salt solution, otherwise the test is followed as usual in Meinicke's reaction.
