Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide the thermal design criteria for a steam reformer for methanol which is available for recovering the waste heat of a gas turbine and an automobile engine. For this purpose, reforming were investigated with both of experiments and analyses. Consequently, it was found that there are remarkable similarities between the heat transfer and the chemical reaction. Also the designing procedure and the standards applicable to the steam reforming for the various catalysts were given.
