Abstract
Recently, paper industry is facing a tough situation. The number of paper companies with over 4 employees had 10,000 or more in 1998, but the number was decreased to only 6,000 companies in 2013. Over 4,000 companies, every year 260 companies, have been declining by merger or bankrupt in recent 15 years. TOKUSHU TOKAI PAPER CO., LTD. is making various efforts for survival. Under these circumstances, we are trying to learn from our experience, especially the successful cases. TOKUSHU TOKAI PAPER CO., LTD. has encountered many crises in the past, and has made various efforts especially new product development and has overcame them. We will introduce our past successful cases in regard to the development, and directions for development.
