Synthesis and DNA intercalation of Stilbazolium Dyes.

Abstract

The cation-related dye derivative is combined with DNA easily, and shows various physiological functions, anticancer action or antivirus activity and it is good as DNA probe are used. In this study, I examined stilbazolium dye 1 of push-pull type and dye 2 that made N,N '- bridging bipyridine which evoked axial asymmetry of 2,2' - bipyridine a dye and interaction with the DNA by electronic spectroscopy analysis.
