Polyisothianaphthene is expected application of OFETs as prototype of low band gap polymer because it has very low energy gap.
But it has the problem of low solubility.
We succeed to synthesize of isothianaphthene precursor that has bicyclo [2.2.2] octadiene moiety and oligoisothianaphthene precursor.
