Synthesis and properties of 1,3-dithiole [n] dendralenes with furan inserted

Abstract

The cross-conjugated systems containing 1,3-dithiole rings are of interest as multi-redox systems because of their unique electronic structures. In our previous work, we have synthesized the donors with thiophene and benzene spacer and studied their electrochemical properties. Herein we report on the synthesis the donors with furan spacer and studied their electrochemical properties.
