Synthesis and Property of a New Cyclic Porphyrin Dimers and Its Inclusion of Fullerenes

Abstract

We have studied the synthesis and crystal structure of a new porphyrin nanotube derived from self-assembly of the cyclic porphyrin dimer Ni2-CPDpy. In our continuing efforts along this line, we wish to report the synthesis of a new cyclic porphyrin dimer. This porphyrin dimer is consisted of pyridyl substituents as self-assembly moieties.
