Sumanene is a bowl-shaped π-conjugated molecule, which is a partial structure of fullerene. Oligoaniline-introduced π-extended sumanenes were designed and synthesized. Laser irradiation to the thin-layer film of these π-extended sumanenes was found to induce the transformation to the conductive materials.
