Abstract
Imidazopyrazinone is the core structure of the substrates of marine bioluminescenct organisms and imidazopyrazinone derivative are useful chemiluminescent reagents for detecting reactive oxygen species. To modulate their chemiluminescent property, we systematically introduced substituents on the phenyl groups at C2 and C6 of the imidazopyrazinone derivatives and investigated their chemiluminescence. We report here the relationship between the substituents and the chemiluminescence property.
