Abstract
In this work, we studied photoinduced electron-transfer (PET) reaction of 9,10-ditolyltetracyclo[6.2.0.04,10.05,9]decane on laser flash photolysis (LFP), and confirmed the first observation of a non-distonic radical cation possessing one-electron sigma-bond, which is one of the putative intermediates in organic electron-transfer chemistry.
