8. EFFECTS OF THE STARVATION AND THE ADMINISTRATION OF NUTRITIOUS SOLUTION

Abstract

After the administration of Cs¹³⁷Cl to male mice of dd strain weighing about 20g, its excretion, distribution, and effect of the starvation and the administration of nutritious solution upon these were investigated with the following results.
The excretion of Cs¹³⁷ was decreased and the retention of it was increased by the starvation, but they were unchanged by the administration of glucose, Ringer's solution and Perestone-N.
