Abstract

The effects of the wall-like assembly exhibition, which is the exhibition method using large amount and various kind of real specimens and less explanations, on visitor's perception and concerns of living things were analyzed by using the questionnaire survey at ‘Insect exhibition' held at the Kitakyushu Museum of Natural History and Human History. Results of the questionnaire survey on the wall-like assembly exhibition suggested that the exhibition gave viewers not only the interest and excitement in looking rare creatures, but also interests and excitements in the beauty and interesting biological features of living things. Thus, this exhibition could be the effective methods giving various and deep perception and concerns of living things on visitors.
