Let C=C1∪ ∪ Cs be a reduced, but reducible, curve and let \mathscr{L} in Pic(C) be very ample. Here we give conditions on deg(\mathscr{L}|Cl) insuring that the embedding of C induced by \mathscr{L} satisfies Property Np. We also study the minimal free resolution for general projections of smooth curves.
