Abstract
A scheme for calculating aberrations of plane grating spectrometers is established, and automatic correction of these aberrations is performed.
Applying this method to design Czerny-Turner spectrographs, the following results are obtained:
(1) It has become easier to design spectrographs.
(2) The optical performance of spectrographs can be improved by fine correction of aberrations.
